Implementing Partners

Components of the Regional Track of the Caribbean PPCR are being co-implemented by five regional institutions:


The Climate Change Studies Group of the University of the West Indies, Mona

is working to  improve and enhance the availability of downscaled climate projections for the Caribbean and expanded climate projection models.

The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA)

is working to reduce climate related risks from mosquito borne diseases and strengthen the policy environment and capacity building for rainwater harvesting systems in the region.

The Caribbean Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH)

is focused on improving the delivery of climate products and services while strengthening the regional climate network and global platform linkages.

The Caribbean Agricultural and Research Development Institute (CARDI)

 is taking action to improve the availability of climate resilient plant varieties and climate resilient agricultural production systems.

The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM)

is working to reduce the impact of climate change related risks on the fisheries industry in the Caribbean.
